Women’s National Baseball Players of Korea and Japan Trained Jointly in Korea

At the invitation of Women’s Baseball Association Korea (WBAK), Manager Megumi KITTA of Japanese Women’s National Baseball Team accompanied by Coach Akiko SHIMURA and 3 leading women players joined the training camp of their counterpart in Jeju Island on November 17 and 18. 

Pitcher Ayami SATO (3 consecutive MVP at Women’s World Cup), infielder Ayaka DEGUCHI and catcher Chihiro FUNAKOSHI who contributed Japan’s 6 consecutive wins at the Women’s World Cup, joined Manager KITTA and coach Shimura to share their experience with the Team Korea which hosted the successful event.
