Nissanka Senadhipathi will serve as the top baseball/softball official in the country of Sri Lanka.
Nissanka Senadhipathi was elected president of the Sri Lanka Amateur Baseball Softball Association at the national body's recent Annual General Meeting (AGM). Asanga Senevirathne was elected First Executive Vice President. The AGM was conducted online, for the first time.
A former president of the nation's basketball association, Senadhipathi has notable experience in sports administration and has helped raise the profile of the sport in Sri Lanka.
Severirathne is also an experienced sports administrator. He served as the president of Sri Lanka Rugby and took the country's ranking in Asia to No. 2 in Rugby Sevens.
The Second Executive Vice President will be Manoj Fernando. Sanka Abeywickrama was elected Secretary-General, while Dilen Fernando will be the Assistant Secretary.
Former Secretary Rajith Ratnayake will take on the responsibility of Vice President. Sujeevan Senarathne was also confirmed as Vice President.
The other members of the Board are Akila Premathilaka (Treasurer), Pubudu Kodikara (coordinator), Chanaka Rukshan Rathnayake (Chairman Men's League), Nuwan Thilina Jayasinghe (Chairman Little League), Sugath Dissanayake (Chair Ladies Baseball and Softball), Chaturanga Ranasinghe (Director Men's League), Chamath Srinika (Director Little League), Bhanuka Senarath (Director Ladies Baseball and Softball).
