TAIPAEI CITY, Taiwan – The 1st Taiwan Black Panther High School National Championship began on Dec 1 2013 at Tianmu Baseball stadium.
Over 50 high school teams and 750 baseball players attend this biggest baseball festival in Taiwan.
It's a meaningful moment to Taiwan high school baseball history as well as those participating players.
Winning teams advance to next round and losing teams must go home. Nan Yin Vocational High School won the very first game beating 12-2 Qiang Shu High School in the Game No 1.
Nan Yin Vocational High School combined 15 hits against Qiang Shu High School pitchers.
The 1st Taiwan Black Panther High School National Championship will last about one and half month and the Gold medal game and Bronze game will be on Jan 12 2014.
