Kyoji NISHIHARA, contributor of Inter High School Baseball Games between Korea and Japan Dies

 Kyoji NISHIMURA passed away in Sakai City, Osaka on October 25 at the age of 84.  He had been known as a fastball pitcher even from middle school days and played at Kishiwada Prefectural High School which missed to advance to KOSHIEN National Championship by loosing to Naniwa Commercial High at the final game of the regional preliminary round.  After graduating from high school he played at the Nishitetsu Lions and the Hiroshima Carp of NPB.  After leaving the front line in 1956, he devoted to promote inter-high school baseball games between Korea and Japan.
