First Executive Committee Meeting of Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) in 2017 will come back to Japan after absence for five years, this time to Fukuoka in Kyushu. The last ECM was held in Taichung in September 5, 2016 on the following day of BFA U-18 Championship.
BFA President Tom Peng and his colleagues of Taiwan will be joined by top leaders of Asian amateur baseball from China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Thailand and Philippines. Several observers including the sponsors and suppliers will also attend the meeting as observers.
They will review BFA’s activities in 2016, discuss strategies to develop baseball in Asia in preparation for 2020 Tokyo Olympic and confirm plans for 2017 which will include the following BFA championships:
