About BFA

Baseball game was introduced by Khawar Shah in 1992 in Pakistan. The Election of Pakistan Federation Baseball were also held in 1992 and Federation started functioning in 1992 at low key. In the same year the first National Baseball Championship was also held which was participated by the teams from Pakistan WAODA, RAIWAY ,ISLAMABAD,BALOCHISTAN, NWFP, SINDH, PUNJAB BLUE and PUNJAB WHITE. Later on, PAKISTAN ARMY and PAKISTAN POLICE also join the race and become one of major promoters of this game.

In 1999 Mr. shukat Javed elected president and Khawar Shah again elected as secretary general of Pakistan Federation Baseball . The Federation started expanding the game aggressively and then every year it is holding a National Championship, Inter provincial, Inter Departmental, , It is also holding a National women Baseball Championship for last six year.

Federation engaged foreign coaches for imparting training to them , ran various clinics for the players, umpires and officials to keep them abreast with the latest knowledge and development in this sport. Federation has also produced latest Baseball equipment from U S,JAPAN AND KOREA.

The Government of Pakistan has also not lagged behind in helping the Federation. It has spent of Rs. 70 million to build Baseball-field in Islamabad.

ACHIEVEMENTS

1996-Pakistan baseball team won the Silver Medal in International Thailand Baseball Championship in Bangkok.
1997-Pakistan baseball team bronze Medal at Second Asia Baseball Cup in Bongkok.
2001-Pakistan won the Silver Medal at the Forth Asia Baseball Cup in Bangkok.
2002-Pakistan won the Silver Medal in the Fifth Asia Baseball Cup in Bangkok.
2004-Pakistan won the Silver Medal in the Sixth Asia Baseball cup Bangkok.
2007-Pakistan Won Gold Medal in the 7th Asia Baseball Cup in Rawalpindi, Pakistan
2008-Pakistan Won Silver Mwdal in 8th Asia Baseball Cup in Bangkok.
2010-Pakistan Won Gold Medal in 8th Asia Baseball Cup in Islamabad Pakistan.
2011-Pakistan Won Gold Medal in SARRC Baseball Cup Iin Lahore, Pakistan.
