About BFA

Nepal Baseball Federation (NBF) is very active in the development and promotion of baseball in Nepal for last couple of years. In 1998, we, with the support of Osaka, Japan based Poole Gakuin University and Circle Laligurans, launched a baseball promotion campaign in various public schools of Pokhara. Officially established in 2010, Nepal Baseball Federation (NBF) is an umbrella body of various baseball associations, clubs, schools, and other academic institutions. Since 1998, we are continuously providing training for the development and promotion of baseball in Nepal. It is matter of pride for us that NBF has now been affiliated to the SAARC Baseball Federation, Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) and International Baseball Federation (IBAF). In 2011, Nepal took part in the SAARC Baseball Cup held in Lahore, Pakistan. This was Nepal's first participation in the international-level baseball tournament. In 2012, Nepal has participated in Punjab International Sports Festival in Lahore, Pakistan and secured third place in Baseball Competition wining bronze medal. Nepal Baseball Federation (NBF) is willing to work together with all individuals and institutions interested in the development of baseball in Nepal.
