The 2020 Malinda Arumadura Memorial Baseball tournament began today at the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapakse Baseball Stadium in Diyagama.
The tournament includes 17 Teams from around the county as the first Baseball tournament for 2020 began today (February 8).
This tournament paves the way for the 6 top teams as this tournament is also a qualifier for the Sri Lanka Baseball Championship.
UOC Strikers got the better out of the Vikings 6-13. Frontiers faced off against Royal Blues from Colombo. The Blues edged out the Frontiers 9-7.
The third and final game witnesses Highlanders take on DS Knights. The Knights convincingly defeated their opponents 11-02 to round off the first day of action.
