29th World Children’s Baseball Fair 2019 Opens in Fukushima City, Japan on August 1

120 Children from 14 Countries/Regions are invited

Sadaharu OH (79), WCBF President and former Tokyo Yomiuri Giants great who slugged 868 carrier home runs, announced at press conference in Tokyo the 29th edition of the WCBF in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture for 9 days from July 31 to August 7. 

 

The girls and boys of 10-and 11 years old will learn from ten veteran coaches of the World Baseball Softball Confederation to play baseball and participate in cultural and other sport events to create goodwill and friendship.  The cultural program includes a tour of the Olympic Venue for Softball and Baseball “AZUMA Stadium” which is currently under renovation for completion in September, 2019

The participating countries and regions are:
Africa: Ghana
Americas: Argentine, Peru, U.S.A.
Asia: China, Chinese Taipei, Laos (for the first time), Nepal, Thailand, Japan
Europe: France, Netherlands, Switzerland
Oceania: Australia
