BFA appoints a new Director of TC. and Director of Training Dept.

Baseball Federation of Asia announced January 25 that Calvin Yeh -- who previously served as Baseball Federation of Asia Director of Training Department -- has been promoted to the position of Director of Technical Commission, replacing Charles Yang.

 

Charles Yang recently resigned his position in BFA as he has taken service with the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) as their new Secretary General under the newly elected CPBL commissioner Tsai, Chi-Chang.

 

Also, Ken Huang has been promoted Director of Training Department of Baseball Federation of Asia from the ranks of senior Technical Commissioners. Dr. Ken Huang is an associate professor of the Department of Physical Education at Chinese Culture University in Taipei, Taiwan. He earned his doctroal degree in Sports Management in the United States Sports Acedemy. He was also served as the pitching coach at PCCU Giants since 2007. He joined the Chinese Culture University faculty in 2007. He teaches courses primarily in Sports Marketing, Information System, Physical Fitness and Management Practices, and Sports Statistics. His main research areas of interest include studies on linkages between sports training management and sports coaching. In addition, he used to be on the national team list of the Chinese Taipei as a left-handed pitcher.

 

Ken said: “It is with great pride that I accept the position of Director of Training Department in Baseball Federation of Asia. I will continue to do my best and make contribution to the international baseball field.”
