WBSC model praised by Chinese Taipei NOC

The Chinese Taipei National Olympic Committee invited WBSC to give a keynote presentation to the annual International Sports Training Course. Secretary General Beng Choo Low spoke to 250 participants about WBSC and how the baseball-softball world governing body worked its way back to the Olympic programme.

Beng Choo Low was then invited by the National Taiwan Sport University to share the history of WBSC with over 150 students.

On her stay, WBSC Secretary General had a chance to visit the University’s Sports Museum. All of the University alumni who have represented Chinese Taipei in international sports competitions are honored in the museum.

 

Beng Choo Low’s visit ended with a meeting with Tom Peng, the President of the Baseball Federation of Asia, and Chris Day, the General Manager of the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association, about the development of Baseball5 in Asia and the inclusion of baseball-softball in the Asian Games 2022, to be played in Hangzhou, China
